Through fundraising initiatives the NS Women That Hunt has supported the Canadian Soldier On program with donations totally $13,000
The Conservation Bursary was designed to acknowledge youth who have adopted and applied a sense of conservation into their lives. To date the NS Women That Hunt have presented $11,000 in awards to graduating students.
Since 2017 individuals have been certified with their Canadian Firearms Safety Course and Hunter's Education Courses through WTH courses, included Water'n Woods. 2019 was the first year we introduced the Trapper's course and 21 students were certified.
Since 2017 the Water'n Woods program has been funded by the NS Habitat Conservation Fund.
In 2016 54 vendors inspired 1,100 individuals during the first Youth Expo. In 2017, 81 vendors inspired 3, 200 individuals. In 4 years 326 vendors have inspired 12,010 individuals.
The Youth Expo has been supported by the Municipality of the County of Colchester, the NS Habitat Conservation Fund, the NS Health Authority, corporate sponsors and local businesses
The WTH remain committed to supporting the Truro Homeless Outreach Society by providing a meal, and Sharing Our Harvest once a month.
The Truro Homeless Outreach Society is always looking for support. You can adopt a meal, make it a team building event with your work, or a family event.
